Houston Drought Information

Here in Houston we have had a lot of rain this year.  It seems like it pretty much rains every day. While we've needed in general in Texas, the ground in Houston is pretty saturated and that can wreak havoc on foundations, especially if homeowners are not maintaining good, positive drainage away from the slab (i.e. the ground should slope away from the foundation so that water cannot pool next to the slab).

While Houston appears to be out of the drought that we've experienced the last few years, there are still areas of Texas that remain in severe drought conditions.
